To provide high quality health care in a supportive, responsive, pro-active and professional manner.

 

Strategy

To use the principles of Good Medical Practice, working within the parameters of NHS guidelines and pathways, to provide best available and appropriate care for our patients. To also provide a supportive and nurturing environment for all staff.

 

Values

Compassion– To respond with empathy and kindness to patients’ needs, offering support and comfort.

Safety– To ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff, with a focus of continuous professional development and high standards of care.

Accountability– To take responsibility for our actions and strive for transparency and accountability in use of NHS resources.

Innovation– To embrace new technologies and approaches to improve services and adapt to changes in healthcare.

Teamwork– To recognise the importance of each team member and create a supportive environment to deliver high-quality care. To work closely with the Primary Care Network, Community and Voluntary Services and Secondary Care (Hospitals) to support patient care.

Everyone counts– To ensure that all individuals, regardless of background or circumstance, whether patient or staff, are treated fairly and respectfully and have access to the care they need.

Continuous Learning and Improvement– To actively seek feedback, learning from mistakes, and constantly working to improve services. To support the future NHS workforce through education of GP trainees and medical students, nurses and other allied staff roles.
