Connect to your GP services online and save time. Quick, easy and secure.

Airmid App

Airmid is the name of our patient app. It links directly with our IT system at the surgery.

Once you have downloaded the app you can log into Airmid with your NHS account or with your SystmOnline account details. Using your NHS Login means that you don’t need to bring any I.D. to the Surgery and can start using the app straight away.

For help logging into Airmid with your NHS account there is a video tutorial. After the initial set up you can choose to log in using Face ID or Touch ID if you prefer.. For more information go to Airmidcares.

What the Airmid App does

  • order repeat prescriptions – see your available medicines, request a new repeat prescription and choose a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent to.
  • view appointments – search for, and cancel appointments at your GP surgery, and see details of your upcoming and past appointments.
  • view test results and supporting information view your test results and up to date information to support you in understanding what each result means.
  • view, print and share parts of your GP record – including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results.
  • view prescription barcode to show to your pharmacy when your medication is ready.

NHS App

If you’re a patient at our practice you can use the NHS App on your smartphone or tablet. You can use the NHS App to get health advice, order repeat prescriptions, manage your hospital referrals, view your GP health record and more.

What the NHS App does

  • order repeat prescriptions – see your available medicines, request a new repeat prescription and choose a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent to.
  • view and amend appointments – search for and cancel appointments at your GP surgery, and see details of your upcoming and past appointments.
  • check your symptoms – search trusted NHS information and advice on hundreds of conditions and treatments, and get instant advice or medical help near you.
  • register your organ donation decision – choose to donate some or all of your organs and check your registered decision.
  • find out how the NHS uses your data – choose if data from your health records is shared for research and planning.
  • view parts of your GP record – including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results.

SystmOnline

Online services allow you to:

  • view, check or cancel appointments with a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional 
  • order repeat prescriptions
  • see parts of your health record, including information about medicines, vaccinations and test results
  • see communications between your GP surgery and other services, such as hospitals

How to register for Online Services

If you have not used our online services before you will need to:

  • Contact the surgery by phone or in person
  • Verify your identity
  • Secure a username and password
  • Enter SystmOnline and enter your registration details exactly as shown on the form.
  • After registering, log on with your username and password.

After you have registered online for SystmOnline, you will need to attend the surgery in person as you are required to provide proof of identity in the form of one photo ID and proof of address, as the system allows access to patient confidential data.

The services offered online are:

  • View or cancel an Appointment
  • See Future Appointments
  • See Past Appointments
  • Order Repeat Prescriptions
  • Change Contact Details
  • Request access to medical records

Online access is not available to patients aged 11-15 years due to rules of competency and confidentiality.

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time.
