Electronic Prescription Service

Patients will be able to have a paper-free prescription sent to the chemist, ie Cheesemans, Tesco Pharmacy. Patients initially have to set this up directly with the chemist. Repeat prescriptions are requested in the normal way, Dispensary action the request and send to the GP for signature.

This prescription is then sent electronically to the chemist, please check the NHS/Airmid App before collecting.

Please allow at least 4 working days before going to collect from the chemist.

If you are a dispensing patient (i.e. you collect your medication from the surgery) you do not need to do anything further.
