Childhood immunisations are given by the Practice Nurse. These are for children aged 8 weeks to 17 years. If your child has missed any immunisations that were due to be given at school, please contact 0300 790 0594 and they will be able to give advice regarding catch up clinics.
Child Health Surveillance for new babies includes an appointment with the Doctor for baby’s 8 week check before the Practice Nurse gives the first immunisations.

CHICKEN POX VACCINATION
We are aware of a change to the childhood vaccination schedule to include vaccination against chicken pox from January 2026. However, we are awaiting specific guidance from NHSE. Once this is received we will advise further.
