Changes to children’s immunisation schedule.

From 1st July 2025:
- All babies attending for their 12-week immunisations will receive the 2nd dose of the 6 in 1 vaccine – Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)/Polio/Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib)/Hepatitis B and the 2nd dose of Men B vaccine
- All babies attending for their 16-week immunisations will receive the 3rd dose of the 6 in 1 vaccine – Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)/Polio/Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib)/Hepatitis B and the 1st dose of Pneumococcal vaccine.
- Babies born on or after 1st July 2024:
- At 12-month immunisation appointment these babies will be given 1st dose of MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella), 3rd dose of Men B and 2nd dose of Pneumococcal vaccines.
- A new 18-month appointment will be introduced to give 2nd MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella) and a 4th dose of 6 in 1 vaccine -Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)/Polio/Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib)/Hepatitis B.
- At 3 years 4 months will be given booster dose of Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)/Polio vaccine.
