Changes to children’s immunisation schedule.

From 1^st July 2025:

• All babies attending for their 12-week immunisations will receive the 2^nd dose of the 6 in 1 vaccine – Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)/Polio/Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib)/Hepatitis B and the 2^nd dose of Men B vaccine
• All babies attending for their 16-week immunisations will receive the 3rd dose of the 6 in 1 vaccine – Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)/Polio/Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib)/Hepatitis B and the 1st dose of Pneumococcal vaccine.
• Babies born on or after 1^st July 2024:
• At 12-month immunisation appointment these babies will be given 1^st dose of MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella), 3^rd dose of Men B and 2^nd dose of Pneumococcal vaccines. 
• A new 18-month appointment will be introduced to give 2^nd MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella) and a 4^th dose of 6 in 1 vaccine -Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)/Polio/Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib)/Hepatitis B.
• At 3 years 4 months will be given booster dose of Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough)/Polio vaccine.
