How does our booking system work?
A high proportion of Doctors appointments will be available to book up to 4 weeks in advance. Also included are nurse's appointments and appointments for vaious clinics including antenatal, diabetic checks, midwife, asthma checks etc.
I need to plan my diary – can I pre-book an appointment in advance?
Nurse, Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomist
Yes. Appointments with the Practice Nurse,
Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomist (blood taking) are pre-bookable up to 4 weeks in advance, this includes the baby
clinic.
What about appointments on the day?
On the day appointments will be available with the duty doctor to deal with unforseen medical problems and emergencies.
Can I still see the Nurse Practitioner?
Yes. We have three nurse practitioners who
are trained to diagnose and treat minor illnesses, including issuing
prescriptions and sickness certificates, however, they cannot do repeat
prescriptions. The vast majority of their appointments are available to be
booked on the same day.
Can I get an early morning appointment?
Yes. Dr Scott offers early morning appointments. Please enquire at reception.
